  My main role was to do piping engineering and welding inspection. I used different non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to check the quality and safety of the mechanical systems and components. Some of the NDT techniques that I used were visual testing (VT), penetrant testing (PT), liquid penetrant inspection (LPI), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), ultrasonic testing (UT), and radiographic testing film interpretation (RTFI). I also did testing and inspection of welded joints, welder qualification, fit up inspection, and prewelding and post welding reports preparation and documentation. I prepared radiographic testing (RT) plans and followed the health and safety protocols. I was involved in the erection of pipes, valves, and various piping equipments, and made sure that the quality was maintained from raw material to end product. I learned a lot from this experience and improved my skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering. I enjoyed working with my team and collaborating with other departments.
