The theme this year is "Pioneering Inclusisivity Towards Sustainability" (based on Goal 17 of SDGs). This year we have various innovations unlike any other Model UN have seen before, " I Care Campaign", first ever social engagement campaign in a Model UN in Indonesia, and "UN4MUN Procedure" the only authentic UN Simulation will be held in IMUN for the first time in INDONESIA and SOUTHEAST ASIA (Student-Led). Aug 2017 - Jan 2019Helped initiate the relationship between ISAFIS and the United Nations in Indonesia (UN Information Center Jakarta), and co-created the grand design for the first UN-supported Model UN Conference in Indonesia; JakartaMUN 2018 (held in Jakarta, August 9-12, 2018 in commemoration of International Youth Day 2018). JakartaMUN also became a pioneer by implementing UN4MUN Procedure to all its committees (4 General Assembly Committees). The conference attracted 100+ participants coming from different parts of Indonesia (high school-varsity level). I was involved personally for the creation of the Secretariat, hand-picked the Secretary General, and the Bureau (Substance Team) that consists of bright university students (diverse in gender, universities, major), as well as the overall rundown of the event. We chose the theme: "Advancing Sustainable Development Through Diplomacy" because as we introduce UN4MUN, we introduce a proper way of diplomacy that focuses on collaboration/consensus rather than competition which will certainly help us achieve the SDGs. The Model UN adopted the UN4MUN approach in three General Assembly committees and one Security Council by UN Department of Public Information making it the first student-run Model UN to fully implement the procedure to all its committees in Southeast Asia. AFMAM is an annual conference to simulate the decision making processes of the ASEAN Summit, where we become representatives of an ASEAN Member State to discuss issues contained in the three pillars of ASEAN (ASEAN Political-Security, ASEAN Economic, and ASEAN Socio-Cultural). Our team was assigned to be Representatives of Cambodia, and I was tasked to be the Minister of Interior in the Ministerial Meeting of the ASEAN Political-Security Pillar. The Young Leaders for Indonesia was launched in 2008 and continues today under the name of YLI National (created by one the top 3 consulting firm in the world (McKinsey & Company). Since its inception, the National program has developed a pool of 460 top talents. YLI National is an annual program conducted in Jakarta with top Indonesian students chosen to participate through a rigorous selection process. The program’s participants are represented by ~30 universities from across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. Selection criteria for the program are: third or fourth year university students with minimum GPA 3.3/4.0; excellent leadership experience, and fluency in English.Over the course of the six-month program, the YLI National participants attended the three forums with Lead Self, Lead Team and Lead Change as the respective themes, and with the PLP and BLP assignments in between forums. Besides engaging the participants in training modules and project development and management experiences, we also invite prominent Indonesian leaders to share their personal leadership paths. Prof Melda Kamil Ariadno, S.H., LL.M as Professor of Public International Law (Law of the Sea) and Dean of Faculty of Law of Universitas Indonesia (2017-2019) to represent Universitas Indonesia for the first Law of the Sea International Moot Court Competition in the world held by Netherlands Institute for the Law of the Sea (NILOS), Utrecht University. Team consists of Amira Bilqis (FHUI 2015), Dominique Virgil (FHUI 2015), and Christ Novriant (FHUI 2015). In the competition, I represented the Applicant Side in the Fictional Case ("Case Concerning Certain Activities in the Degroot Sea between The Kingdom of Vattel and The Federal Republic of Fulton") both in making a written legal memorandum, and delivering an oral argument (pleading). I was judged by a high-ranking officer in the Permanent Court of Arbitration, prominent law of the sea experts, and lawyers of the largest law firm in the Netherlands. The case was concerning legal questions in the scope of Protection of the Marine Environment, Fisheries, The Precautionary Approach, Freedom in the EEZ, etc. Primary Sources of Law include agreements/conventions related to the Law of the Sea as well as Precedents from relevant international courts/tribunals. Show less Gerakan Sejiwa Pancasila is a youth- led movement in the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia (FHUI) for the advocacy of Religious tolerance in our Campus officially recognized by the FHUI Leadership. "Pancasila" is Indonesia's national ideology, reflecting the spirit of humanity, consensus, and tolerance, and "Sejiwa" means one soul; that is why our name translates to "the unity of the Indonesian people under Pancasila". Sejiwa Pancasila is an inter-faith project, supported by five religious organizations representing five religions in FHUI. We held our first forum on October 13th 2018, facilitated by two prominent NGOs, Wahid Foundation and SabangMerauke. We invited religious leaders to share each religion's teachings of peace and tolerance. We also conducted a Focus Group Discussion, resulting in a Declaration by FHUI Students stating that fighting intolerance is our collective responsibility. On October 25th 2018, we held a public seminar to educate the public of the importance of seeding Pancasila values to fight intolerance with prominent national figures as well as the National Agency for the Dissemination and Cultivation of Indonesia's National Ideology (Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila). Oct 2018 - Jan 2019Consultant as part of the Breakthrough Leadership Project in Young Leaders for Indonesia ProgramAs part of the Young Leaders for Indonesia Program by Mckinsey&Company Indonesia, I was assigned to assist SMSG, a public networking platform bringing together 500+ member CSOs in the education sector to increase partnerships between CSOs for the development of Indonesia's education sector. The project with SMSG was to create a capacity assessment tool for 500+ CSOs to measure the current capabilities of wide-ranging CSOs based on 9 indicators (financial capability, organizational capability, innovation and impact, human resource, etc.) via a google form questionnaire (41 questions) and in-depth interviews. We perform the benchmarking for 36 CSOs as the pilot project and based on analysis, classify the CSOs into 5 tiers: (i) startup; (ii) small; (iii) medium; (iv) big; (v) sustainable. In the end, we provided recommendations to SMSG on the application of the assessment tool as well as suggested capacity-building exercises that SMSG might implement in the future. Show less

Directly created a social project to be executed with Kakiseni (a renowned Arts and Culture CSO based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) in 2019 called “#senikidZ”, as well as conducting an on-site monitoring and assessment of Kakiseni’s current programme “#seniMakingADifference”. As part of the team, I was involved in creating the grand design, budgeting, programme syllabus for the #senikidZ project. We also met and cooperate with local artists, teachers in the targeted school, other local CSOs (ToyLibraries, Hands for Education) as well as dialogue with Malaysia’s Ministry of Education.
