Co Founder and Director and Mindfulness teacher

As co founder and Director of MPCP I have facilitated 20+ MBSR/MBCT/.b/.b foundations and Mindfulness for Parents courses, 25+ taster sessions/workshops, 2 conferences and offered 1 key note speech on mindfulness and the brain. I organised the launch of 'The Mindful Nations Uk' report in partnership with UWE Bristol and Bristol Council Public Health. Participants of my courses experience a range of conditions such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, OCD, PTSD, heart conditions, disabling physical conditions, Cancer (post treatment), Post-Natal Depression, memory loss neuralgia, intense physical pain, learning difficulties, self harm, attachment disorder and domestic abuse. I work to bring Mindfulness courses to groups of vulnerable families, schools and educational settings in this role. Show less

      Therapist

I offer a warm, open and peaceful space to gently explore the places in peoples lives that feel disconnected. Exploring the impact on suffering on emotional, mental and physical health and well-being in an embodied way supports a re-connection and ability to hear the wisdom of the body which brings about the healing and freedom that is desired.I have worked with individuals and groups supporting a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, OCD, PTSD, enduring physical conditions, Cancer, Post-Natal Depression, self harm, attachment disorder, dissociative disorders and domestic abuse. Of course these are all labels which may, or may not be helpful to you.I start from the stance that experience in all its uniqueness is the point of exploration not the label. The present moment experience gives us all we need to begin feeling whole again. Show less

      Mar 2020 - now
Head of mindfulness counselling and corporate programme development lead

I am invested in supporting LGBTQ+ and BAME community through this organisation with mindfulness and therapeutic practice. I am also making connections with corporate organisations to offer the diverse range of services and therapists to staff. Having a group of therapists working for this organisation coming from a range of cultures, genders, sexuality and experiences means we can meet the needs of individuals through a quality of service that is therapeutic excellence..
