      The aim of this Mission was to assess the situation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the districts of Kono and Kailahun during the civil war in Sierra Leone in the 1990s. The results of my findings encouraged the SADC to set up a branch office in Freetown immediately after the war, which geared towards support for housing projects in the norther district of Port-Loko.
