  Researched under the Supervision of Professor James Anderson on a method that adequately described the behavior of shale oil in treated and untreated states. This was achieved through the application of rheological models and mathematical models on experimental data to model the presence of peaks observed in shear stress-shear rate plots attributed to the presence of wax. With the model derived, the effect of inhibitors on the wax could easily be evaluated.
