    • Lamb's Tire and Automotive

      Jan 1999 - Jun 2008

Duties as Director included: hiring, firing, and training of all 250 employees, handling all customer disputes with 100% satisfaction, set monthly and daily objectives for all of our 15 area locations, using Excel spreadsheets, implemented a scorecard, to encourage friendly competition among the store managers and their teams, I also developed a personal development program to help some of our more timid service writers come out of their shells and be more confident when approaching potential customers, had weekly meetings with all store managers going over their objectives, customer service improvement areas, and any staffing issues they might have had. Show less The most important thing was always arrive with a smile! Greet customers as they walk through the door, always stand with them instead of across the counter, go out to the vehicle with them and address their needs, take their keys, show them to the waiting area and pull the car in yourself, upon checking the car over when inside, evaluate customers concerns FIRST, and then address any items that appear concerning. This is important because you can not properly sell anything unless you see it first!, approach customers with estimate of repairs, and politely ask if you could earn their business. Show less

      Store Manager

Constantly coaching my team to be the best they could be, was always the first there and the last one to leave, responsible for opening and closing a $2million store, making sure customers always left with a smile (No Matter What!), ensuring quality workmanship by constantly rotating technicians to technical training classes and keeping all their ASE's current, updated daily and monthly quota boards, Always exceeded the goals set forth and then some, set company records for sales in a month in two of the most difficult locations, my team and I broke barriers that seemed unbreakable in a month (300K in July 2006). My thought was always-- " If your employees are happy and your customers are happy, the making money part will always work itself out!" Show less

    • Leonard's Garage and Tire Center

      Oct 2008 - Jun 2009
      General Manager

Brought into the company after long business talks with the owner, Leonard Johnson, about his long term goals and what he wanted accomplished. He really wanted to take his company to the next level, but just wasn’t confident in some of his staff to get him there. I went in this company, and in ten months , evaluated and either upgraded or trained all employees on the many methods of increasing revenue that I had once been taught. Within that time I also was able to restructure his entire company to not only accommodate his twenty(+) year clientele, but show them all how to appeal to the new customer, and not only how to retain these crucial customers, but how to keep them returning. My new team and I were able to show Mr. Johnson a 50% increase in sales in just a 90 day time period while he serviced the Community of Lakeyway, TX. As a police officer. All the while maintaining a very minimal payroll percentage. We made such an impact to his business, he eventually saw a great opportunity to quit the force and was able to have the financial freedom to become a fulltime CEO, and unfortunately the conclusion to my contract. I really enjoyed working with the Johnson Family, who ultimately led to my passion to open my own consulting business. Show less

    • LambCo. Business Solutions

      Feb 2010 - Jun 2011
      President

started a new business to enable CEO's and top executives to make better decisions regarding their people that work for them. My business is called LambCo. Business Solutions. I have invested a lot of money in a scientific solution to moderately repair or just totally eradicate these issues... I have become, since owning my own business and thinking outside the box, a marketing whiz kid. I have acquired a knack for marketing to the extent to where I can show businesses who are slow to start an exponential increase in customers\sales. Enough where most of my clients are realizing a 500% ROI. I offer my services in several package deals. If you don't live in Texas, it doesn't matter. We can do web cam meetings so I can gather information on your business. I'm tired of seeing small businesses close their doors because of lack of resources and know how to bring in the business and accomodate the quick expansion that would result in an increase in sales\business.. I can help!!! PLEASE CONTACT ME!! JOHN H LAMB Show less
