  The focus area is to identify the gaps and to develop an intervention in the Maternal and Child health. Preeclampsia has been identified as one of the major cause for the MMR in Odisha yet the most neglected disorder in the segment. Pre-symptomatic detection of the preeclampsia with reliable biomarker is the demand of the compulsive scenario. Micro (mi)RNAs specific to the disorder can be a potential candidate in this direction.
