  Production Engineer Intern for Midland Basin Operations Technical Team. I participated in day to day field activities required to safely drill, complete and operate oil and gas wells. This included shadowing the roles of Field Specialists, Electronic Instrumentation Specialist, and Fluid Techs. In addition to my time spent in the field, I completed a workover cost study for Big Lake by analyzing day to day costs, overruns, and reason for overruns on recent recompletions, identified ways to reduce excessive costs of recompletions, supported operations by assisting in designing a fracture recompletion of a Big Lake well, and submitted one safety recommendation for electrical safe work in the field that was sent to the HES, OS and Ops Managers for potential implementation.
