      In 2011, Eaton Corporation took up the project of building a corporate area in South America region to meet its operations, as follow: 4 autoparts operations (at Valinhos, Mogi Mirim, S.J.dos Campos and Caxias do Sul cities), 2 hydraulics plants (at Guarulhos and Guaratinguetá cities), 3 electricals operations (at Jundiaí, Votorantim and Porto Feliz cities) and 1 sales office at São Paulo. From 2013, extended responsabilities for Argentina, Chile and Costa Rica operations. Total of employees: 5500+I had the responsibility for corporate employee benefit programs, including: health care, employee assistance program, group life insurance, car policy, education program, severance policy and Broker management. As part of the activities:- develop and implement corporate benefit procedures;- process health care earning/deduction changes and update/maintain payroll files;- conduct benefit orientation meetings with Brazil HR Teams, regarding to understanding of benefit plans and enrollment requirements;- manage, audit and pay invoices for corporate benefit plans;- manage the calculation relative to premiums, claims and costs fo group life insurance;- special studies and recommendations on benefits subjects, as needed; monitor costs and trends;- surveys relative to benefits costs and design; also, use them to making recommendations for plan design changes;- analyzes annual benefits benchmarking and prepare related reports and presentations;- review service provider contracts to ensure all terms are in compliance with the contract agreement and regulatory guidelines.I had additional HRBP responsibilities (ethic issues, talent acquisiton, employee survey action plan, performance appraisal, rewards, development, termination, etc.) supporting Corporate Functions @Valinhos Campus (SP), 150 employees, such as: Audit, EHS, Ethics, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Supply Chain. (plus 3 Analysts and 1 Supervisor as subordinates) Show less Responsible for all compensation processes at Valinhos (SP) plant, including: - job description for all positions (audit, organize, control, create, review and update);- job evaluation (Hay Method); - compensation surveys collecting and analyzing competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position; internal deployment of results;- local wage benchmarks within labor market to determine competitive wage rates for specific positions;- recommendation to pay actions (offer letters, pay increases, merit, bonus, equity adjustment, etc.) as needed;- generate all compensation communications (offer letter, bonus letters, etc.), periodic HR reports or charts and organizational charts;- special studies and recommendations (bonus plans, sales compensation);- documentation of compensation (forms, templates, instructions, etc);- coaching and training to the HR team and managers on compensation topics, corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems.
