  Shadowed under a hospitalist and was able to observe various specialties, such as pulmonology and cardiology, within SSM Healthcare Services. Gained experience in in-patient and out-patient settings. Learned about EHR systems, specifically Epic, and how patient information was recorded and shared between healthcare providers.

  Through the Red Cross and Strive To Save Lives initiative by taking action in educating people from all age groups about CPR/AED/First Aid/Severe Trauma as well as how to handle emergency situations before first responders arrive. - Providing workshops and training to Instructors part of the program- Creating uniformity and structure in the way Instructors teach their classes Counseling youth within the DFW Area in order to show the different volunteering opportunities within the Red Cross. Then helping them contact service coordinators to join opportunities they are interested in.
