      Jan 1993 - Jan 2007

I directed the Alumni Admissions recruitment program involving the coordination of over 700 alumni volunteers serving 30,000 prospective students to advance Carleton and its mission. This involved training alumni representatives and ensuring reliable flow of information between the Admissions Office and volunteers who were conducting interviews, representing Carleton at college fairs, and hosting events for prospective students and their parents. Prospective students contacted by these volunteers were 50% more likely to apply for admission in 2002 and 2003. Served as primary liaison to a ten-member alumni board, coordinating and expanding an active volunteer structure. Show less

As Associate VP and Chief of Staff in the President's Office at Carleton College, I developed Board and shared governance planning and coordination and represented senior leadership in communications efforts, strategic planning, accreditation initiatives, senior-level searches, and fundraising planning.
