      • A member of the Senior Fundraising Management Team which included setting strategies to raise income/develop community awareness/working with volunteers.• Responsible for the day to day management of the Hospice Lottery – including budgeting and ensuring income targets met. Was responsible for the introduction of the lottery in 2003 with over £11m income generated in 17 years.• Ensured the Lottery and Raffles held were compliant to the Gambling Act 2005 – this included the briefing the Fundraising Team of the Rules and Regulations.• Board Member of the Hospice Lotteries Association.• Headed up the Community Fundraising Team who were an important part of the overall team that helped to raise £17.2m to enable the new adult hospice in Southend to in March 2020.• Worked across the Fundraising Teams to raise funds for the 3 hospices under the Havens Hospices umbrella.• Communicated with supporters and delivered presentations to them across all sectors including Schools/Groups/Volunteer Groups & Associations as well as face to face fundraising on a 1:1 basis.• Responsible for starting the Hospices 'Hares About Town' Learning Project that has been delayed until 2020/21 - over 50 Leverets were 'sold' to schools and groups, with a potential of £50k raised. This project included the launch materials/presentations to Head Teachers, preparation of study materials, invoices and follow up communications throughout the project.• Responsible for Open Tours of the New Hospice where over 1300 supporters were welcomed to the hospice (before it was opened) – liaising with staff and care teams and co-ordinating tour plans/scripts and Risk Assessments.• Worked with Marketing Teams to ensure media promotions of the Lottery and other events were advertised accordingly.
