Project Name: "Tool Trajectory Generation for Complex Surface Manufacturing on 5-Axis Machines."

  Interning at ZF has been a milestone in my professional career, as I am managing to put into practice knowledge I acquired in college and in my previous internship.Being in the experimental engineering sector is being a game changer, because in addition to the technical experience I am gaining from working directly with a specific engineering product in the automotive sector, hydraulic and electric steering systems, as well as drum brakes and I am managing to gain insight in the business sphere, more specifically in project management.In addition, ZF has allowed me to go further, offering various training courses on finite element technical analysis and PLM (Product Life Management) management, to be enabling me to acquire Green belt in LSS methodology (Lean Six Sigma), with a project of internal improvement in the NVH Engineering sector in EPS (Electric Power Steering).   I work in the development of software and control for automotive propulsion systems, covering combustion engines, hybrid and electric vehicles with different mHEV, PHEV, BEV and HEV architectures. Today I develop software in MatLab / Simulink and structure it in the Autosar Architecture standard for combustion engine control engineering.I work directly in the development of ECU control software requirements, also highlighting the calibration of propulsion systems. I also highlight my involvement in the software development process for several renowned automakers, such as Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, among others.   I work in a global team, more specifically, Propulsion Controls. Today, with members from all over the world, focused in our brands Dodge and Jeep, I'm responsible for developing control software and strategies for vehicles with ICE, HEV, and PHEV architectures. A big part of my role involves working closely with calibration engineers in the vehicle to develop, test, and improve features. I also take the lead on certain tasks and controls that require coordination across our 30-person team to deliver as one. Additionally, I run our daily standups using agile methodology, helping keep everyone aligned and moving forward. Show less
