      Event Operations• Ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards of customer service within the constraints of the Museum, briefing the Event Assistants, catering team and security department prior to the start of each event• Attend weekly Event Operation meetings, where possible, and following discussions with the Operations Manager, liaise with the wider event and catering teams. Review function sheets for all upcoming events, responding effectively and promptly to any changes• Ensure all relevant University & Museum rules and Health & Safety protocols are adhered to - limiting risks associated with event operations such as trip and slip hazards, evacuations and first aid incidents, ensuring all incidents are reported to the Event Operations Manager and other relevant departmentsEvent Administration• Processing Collating event finances to pass onto the museum finance team, event sales and operations teams for actioning. • Processing Recording onto a spreadsheet the event offices invoices, raising purchase orders, setting up new suppliers/clients on the University payment system (Oracle), collating and distributing a weekly definite bookings report in a timely and accurate fashion• Accurately update the Events department revenue spreadsheet• Maintain an accurate record of the museum’s Performing Right Society (PRS) payments ensuring any charges are invoiced to clients and benugo accordingly and preparing a document for annual submission by the Operations Manager to the PRS• Maintain an accurate record and certificates/copies of Licences required and held by the museum, ensuring they are current and that all terms and conditions are adhered to Show less * Supervise on my own or as part of a team the set-up, delivery, stewarding and breakdown of selected events as required and as instructed by the Evening Events Manager and Museum Events Manager. * Provide effective briefings prior to the start of each event ensuring clear instructions are given to the Events Assistants and remaining supportive of them throughout the whole evening. * Liaise and work together with the Catering team where applicable i.e. during set-up and break-down times where supervision or stewarding may be required. * Addressing issues that come up on the night and ensuring they are resolved to the client's satisfaction.* Support the Events team by completing administrative tasks such as invoicing clients, purchasing and updating the accounting spreadsheet regularly.
