The Criteria Based Dispatch guidelines are an internationally-recognized innovative approach to emergency medical dispatching. These EMD guidelines have resulted in a more effective and efficient use of emergency medical services resources, particularly paramedic (ALS) services in King County and are no longer available for licensing to outside King County agencies due to such an increased demand.       ▪ FIRE LIAISON: The Fire Liaison was dedicated to bridging the abilities & possibilities of 911 dispatch with the unique needs of 20 different Fire and Police Departments. I lead high risk-low frequency training scenarios and conducted Security and Risk Assessments alongside Police, Fire, EMS and Emergency Management. I coordinated communications for special events utilizing the unified command structure of ICS. I provided expedient business partner support to ensure seamless security and safety. I established, maintained and enhanced relationships with internal and external agencies/partners. I ensured processes were deployed and practiced according to SOP and SOG. I collaborated regularly with regional and civic leaders throughout Snohomish, King, and Pierce County. I refined a rapid stroke transport protocol program and initiated a case study that resulted in marked improvement over existing patient contact times. I managed direct reports (70+ employees) comprised of 6 Supervisors and 64 Telecommunicators.▪ TEAM SUPERVISOR: As an Operations Head, I gained experience in team management, regular employee reviews, managed constructive performance improvement processes, employee scheduling, payroll processing, and effective delegation of duties.
