  PhD researcher at COFS/UWA investigating suction caisson in-service performance for Offshore Wind Turbines. • Carried out centrifuge model test to study 1) the effect of a gap between lid and seabed and 2) the response in layered soils under vertical cyclic loading. • Developing a machine learning model to predict displacement accumulation and a numerical model to gain insights on response to a large number of load cycles. Led centrifuge testing experiments for an external industry project on suction bucket response to vertical cyclic loading. Collaborated in analysis and reported results to the client. Tutor for postgraduate (applied geomechanics and underground construction) and undergraduate (introduction to professional engineering) units.
