In the course, student teams partner with social impact organizations to identify and address real world problems relating to poverty in areas such as agriculture, food, nutrition, health, power, shelter, environmental justice and education. After the course some projects continue to Social E Lab where they receive funding, space, and mentorship over the summer to take prototyping and testing to the next level. In Design Lab, a highly selective group of teams gain continued support to grow further towards implementation. Show less
