  Senior Manager IT Infrastructure

  As the Senior Infrastructure Manager I have the responsibility for all network and voice communications systems as well as server, storage and cloud infrastructure throughout Eileen Fisher. Practically everything we do here at Eileen Fisher has a dependency in one way or another on the IT infrastructure that my team delivers in this modern, technology driven world. On a daily basis we have over 3000 connected devices that we service on the Eileen Fisher enterprise network. We actively monitor almost 1000 of those devices and over 100 private and Internet circuits throughout the US, Canada and UK around the clock which provide critical connection and service points for conducting business and servicing our customers. In addition to the network we also manage over 125 servers and cloud services and over 175 terabytes of data and backups which is about 160 billion pages of text (more than half of what we store today are images and video data so that would be about 82,000 hours of high definition video).The exciting part of being the manager of IT infrastructure isn’t all the devices, connections, servers and storage that we manage or the dozens of applications that our infrastructure hosts but how fast things change for us in IT. In my almost 32 years at Eileen Fisher I’ve see us come all the way from no servers and no official IT department, with a few of us doing everything from cutting and shipping to the successful organization of over 1000 employees with over 500 thousand customers in our extended family. With that, for over 31 years I’ve been able to create and evolve the infrastructure from a single server to leading the infrastructure’s evolution to the cloud so we are able to continue to align the infrastructure with the increasing demands and agility of the business as we all strive to reach the next milestone for Eileen Fisher Inc.   I'm actively involved in the Elmsford, NY area communities I'm a NYS licensed EMT and a member of the Elmsford Fire Department with the current rank of Chief of Department. I enjoy music (salsa, merengue Jazz and anything that sounds good), watching TV, traveling but more than anything I love expending time doing whatever my kids want to do.
