      Spent 3 months studying abroad as a student crew member aboard a 112ft sailing vessel, STV Vela, stood watch with groups of 6-8 individuals while sailing through the Caribbean and Atlantic, participated in academic classes on Leadership, Seamanship, Marine Biology, and Oceanography accredited through the University of South Florida, achieved scuba and sailing certifications.
