  Responsible for supporting the following Data and IP platforms: MPLS, Etherflow, IP Connect Ireland, Govnet, LAN/SAN BTIA & ISP core.Work on chargeable and non chargeable change requests, in accordance with BT Ireland policy and team process on all Data and IP services mentioned above.Provide external and internal consultancy on customer networks as and when required.On occasions when required attend customer sites to resolve faults.Work on accepting Data and IP services through the Ops acceptance process, to ensure that services passed from Service Delivery into Operations are accepted as clean during the delivery to operations handover. I proactively and reactively manage BT Ireland’s telecommunications network and ensure that all Network and customer faults are cleared within specified T2R time scales.I perform first line diagnostics on access and core networks. I proactively and reactively work faults on voice, SDH, Radio, DWDM, ATM, XDSL, MPLS and IP networks ensuring that all customer and network faults are repaired within specified T2R timescales. I manage and perform routine [remote] maintenance on elements of BT Ireland's network. I investigate and lead "incidents" and manage them through to resolution. I provide root cause and implement fix procedures for network issues and incidents. I have responsibility around strategic NOC development and implementation.
