      Winner - Wipro Climate Challenge Wipro, Climate Collective Nov 2022 Me and my team (Moubani Sen, Kaustav Laskar, Subhajit Bag) participated in the Wipro Climate Challenge organized by Wipro and CCF. It was a 6 week challenge where we were mentored by the CCF team and Industry Mentor Mr. Uday Pratap Singh. Over the 6 week period we developed a 9 slide presentation, a tech blog and also made progress on our project, culminating in a question handling session during the finals. It is the largest and most prestigious category in SDI, with almost half of all the teams participating in it. It was a gruelling 9 - month journey which was the hardest and most industry - oriented project I have participated in so far. This achievement becomes even more prestigious when we consider that we… Show more Team NIVAS 2.0 of IEM Kolkata, in collaboration with several institutions across the country, achieved Runner - Up position in Solar Decathlon India's Multi Family Housing (MFY) category. It is the largest and most prestigious category in SDI, with almost half of all the teams participating in it. It was a gruelling 9 - month journey which was the hardest and most industry - oriented project I have participated in so far. This achievement becomes even more prestigious when we consider that we were one of only 2 Engineering - led teams, in an otherwise completely Architecture - dominated competition. Our Project Partner was Mahindra LifeSpaces. Our Industry Partners were D2O, Lloyd Insulations and Only Yours. I was a core member of the team in charge of Innovation segment. I also provided assistance in Energy, Water, Communication, and Marketing segments, and was part of the editorial team in charge of proofreading and compiling the final deliverable report. This competition started in August 2021 and ended in February 2022. It was comprised of Abstract Submission, Chapter Level Screening, Zonal Presentation and National Final Presentation of innovative HVAC&R ideas.       Winner - IEEE PPT Making Competition "Urjaa" IEEE IEM Student Branch Nov 2020 Me and my team participated in a 3 day PPT Making Competition called "Urjaa", organized by the prestigious IEEE's student branch. The topic was "Emerging Trends in Renewable Energy", and as Team Leader I was involved with the design and formation of our PPT, conducting part of our research, managing and scheduling, as well as presenting during the competition.
