      May 1996 - Oct 2004
Head Instructor, College Staff, Camp Manager

Received an application to join the highly coveted camp and events staff which employs the country's most talented and dedicated cheerleaders that exemplify leadership, teaching and athletic skills. The staff is chosen based on those that possess character and enthusiasm, as well as teamwork skills and confidence. Of the more than 1,000 that apply, only the very best are chosen! This was nothing but a very positive experience for me and some of my best memories growing into adulthood. I was surrounded by amazing role models and positive influences as I traveled the country and was able to set a good example and make a difference in the youth of America. Even on your most exhausting day, only positivity and energy were expected of you. As head instructor, I would lead a staff of 20+ and in charge of up to 800 kids at a camp for 4 days. It was a large responsibility at such a young age. I instructed coaches on how to become the best at what they do with these young kids as well as manage the daily operations of the camp facility and clients. I problem solved, encourage teamwork and client retention. Show less
