  DJS Helios was a 50+ member team comprising of Mechanical, Production & Electronics Engineers. The goal was to design, manufacture & assemble a prototype of an Electric-Solar Hybrid Car to represent DJ Sanghvi College on a National Level.• Worked on the designing & manufacturing of the prototype of an electric-solar hybrid car.• Led the department as a ‘Solar & Transmission Head’ and designed Solar Panels, Transmission System & Battery Layout. • Raised around 7 Lakh Rupees from in-kind, monetary sponsorships and a crowd-funding campaign.• Partnered with Industry Leaders like Waaree Energies Ltd & Victron Energy as our sponsors.• Designed a custom Steering & Suspension system using SolidWorks, analyzed using ANSYS and manufactured it with the help of top-end precision manufacturing techniques like CNC, EBM, Laser Cutting among others. • Formed the team, delegated responsibilities to different departments, overlooked weekly progress, procured sponsors from industry, actively indulged in marketing & planning of different phases of work. • Mentored juniors in different ways and maintained synergy within different departments.• Presented business plan and design of the Electric-Solar Car in front of Industry delegates.
