  Katha is a NGO that operates in the slums of Govindpuri. It works for the welfare of people and helps in improving the living conditions of people in slums by educating them for a better lifestyle and providing them with basic employment skills. My role was to spread awareness about their summer course which taught people basic computer skills that are needed for employment. A part of my work there was community survey. Katha lab schools also teaches young children some major life skills and moral values in the form of stories or "Katha" which was my major attraction towards the NGO. Show less

  Summer trainee at IGIB in the molecular Biology lab.I performed in-vitro transcription, in-vitro cleavage by using Cas9 protein, agarose gel electrophoresis, preparation of gel- SDS and Agarose gel,DNA purification, familiarisation with instrument used in labs like PCR, Spectrophotometer, High Purification Liquid Chromatography, Centrifugation machine,Haemocytometer.I observed protein purifcation process of Cas-9 protein during the course of my training.
