Drove database (DB) definition, and development of access tools and associated applications.▶ Led team to brainstorm a technology solution to ensure that classified data did not leak or intermingle with non-classified information. Created a ‘release workstation’ for sensitive data monitoring. The winning solution was embraced by all agencies and implemented as planned.▶ Transferred to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) in Australia to support installation and operations of several DoD applications.   Held business oversight for client Orbital Sciences Corporation's custom development of ground station software application (MAESTRO) that directs flight operations of custom satellites. The program included custom features and payloads, and it supported all mission requirements of satellite components. ▶ Defused a lethal conflict between client and partner teams, amidst confusion, dysfunction, and test failure. Reengaged and persuaded teams to resume discipline and collaborate to identify solutions. ▶ Awarded certificate of achievement and bonus from Sycamore for "significant contribution to the success of the program". It was a team-rally effort, but after the winning launch of the first program satellite, one of the partner team managers declared that "Wally Lewis saved the program." Show less

  As core member of PMO for a division whose focus was moving camera technology, I oversaw budgets, supervised on-shore and off-shore project teams up to 20 members, and owned project execution from initiation to manufacturing through close. Utilized SAP and SharePoint tools.▶ Awarded for on-time and within budget completion of Competitor Protocol project. It was the first on-time and within budget project completed at Bosch Security Systems in over 8 years.▶ Spearheaded an enterprise Life Cycle Management (LCM) Program which included 20-30 projects for in-field camera failures, product enhancements, end-of-life component replacements, and other efforts. Achieved process improvements and sourced lower cost parts.   For a growing logistics company, I liaised with the Executive Steering Committee and established PMO infrastructure to manage and prioritize multiple projects, including call center improvements. I trained junior project managers to adopt project management tools, methodologies, templations, and communication protocols.▶ Oversaw Agile development of a custom AFS Transportation Management System (TMS) app. The system provided significant cost savings. ▶ Awarded for helping coordinate corporate move into new facility, per plan.▶ We negotiated an innovative, win-win-win (AFS-Carriers-Shippers) group discount program which resulted in a significant commission for AFS.   Contracted by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission to direct GIS and Business Intelligence Data Analysis (BIDA) projects for PTC's GeoAnalytics department as part of their PMO. Served as primary liaison between senior management and project teams and regularly presented status. I led creation of Statement of Work (SOW), Project Management Plan, spend plan, resource plan, status reports, and other essential documents for each project. We utilized ServiceNow for ticketing, bug tracking, and project tracking. ▶ One objective was to improve the response time for customer alerts regarding traffic-related incidents. The unacceptably long lag-times were contributing to further traffic problems and delays. ▶ I liaised across the organization and supervised teams to develop a network-based mobile application and dashboard solution. The overall work entailed managing multiple projects in tandem.▶ We managed GIS and BIDA projects to completion per project priorities, and reduced lag-time for customer notification by more than 50%.▶ As part of the solution, we forged a winning partnership with social application vendor DataCapable to complete a Proof of Concept (POC) pilot project. Salesforce Proof of Concept (POC) to investigate replacing SharePoint with Salesforce for the LDH Managed Care Routine Reports generation and storage. POC successfully completed in July 2020, feasibility was confirmed.2. Salesforce Managed Care Routine Reporting. Generate MC routine reports, archive reports in Salesforce cloud. Salesforce replaced SharePoint as the repository for Managed Care reports. This was completed in July 2020.3. Salesforce Phase 2--Managed Care Enhancements, added to Reporting app. Incorporated ad-hoc reports / data transfers, implemented Independent Review (IR) requests / workflow, implemented consolidated complaint tracking, implemented contract compliance measures. Successfully completed December 2021.4. Salesforce Phase 3--SRI (Strategic Resources, Inc) and Pharmacy RA (Remittance Advice) functionality. SRI functionality manages requests to the EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) system. Pharmacy functionality manages submitting and tracking RA requests online, and it pertains to providers, LDH users, and MCO users. This project was completed and put in production in December 2021.5. Salesforce ECHO (Enterprise Change Order) Phase 1 was implemented to replace the Gainwell LIFT system that was being sunset in early 2023. ECHO would include all functionality from the LIFT system and add built-in Salesforce functionality for automation and enhanced features. This system was completed in January 2024 and is in production for LDH usage.6. HIE (Health Information Exchange) is a Modularity Roadmap module. Test coordinator.7.
