Apr 2018 - nowI currently have many different roles and tasks that can be fluid and may change as needed. We currently handle complaints and escalations related to Homeowner products. Listening to a customer who has had a poor experience, understanding to cause, and offering a solution if possible to retain our customers. We remediate an escalated situation by listening and trying to reduce the customers concerns with both Direct as well as Agency property policies. Examples of some situations we work with are: Claims experience or not connecting with adjusters for resolution, premium increases and understanding, underwriting cancels or nonrenewal and helping assist with communications to customers to avoid this, offering alternative options in order to ensure our customers feel important and keep all policies with Progressive is the main goal. We are also responsible for making changes or communicating requested changes by working directly with the insureds mortgage company to avoid frustrations by having needing the insured to call in or make requests. Proactive call outs are made when there is a change that could warrant the customer to shop or move the existing policies to another carrier to have a discussion and offer assistance to resolve before it is too late. As needed, we also adjust to help other departments by taking inbound calls to alleviate high call volume also. Show less I moved on to POC Team (Proof of concept) when the opportunity came up to further expand my experiences with Progressive. The core objective of this specialty team is to test (pilot) different processes or treatments and incorporate into current procedures to ensure a better experiences. Feedback was taken from customers as well as employees on how to improve and gain understanding on specifics of their experiences. These experiences were then tracked and reviewed to identify opportunities for changes to current processes and procedures for improvement. We piloted a new partner carrier that reduced the amount of time significantly resulting in overall satisfaction without a loss of quality or profit. I was proud to be a part of this integration with a new carrier. Show less I continued quoting for auto and special lines products, as well as adding other options available to bundle our customers with homeowners, renters, landlord, manufactured homes, and condo policies. We used many different quoting platforms, search engines, and carrier systems while ensuring all legal and company standards were adhered to. Offering customers competitive rates. Other products, and coverage education and answering any questions they may have. Offering an overall above industry and company standard when working with each customer, allowed me to achieve recognition for consistently delivering high sales numbers as well as low (or 0%) customer cancel rate within 90 days.
