  Chief Executive of the US Navy's only forward deployed, carrier-based, helicopter squadron. HS-14 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing FIVE (CVW-5) embarked in USS KITTY HAWK (CV-63) permanently assigned in Japan. Charted the strategic direction and managed five department directors to maintain, train and employ a ten aircraft, 200-man helicopter squadron. Met or exceeded all financial and operational goals.

  Executed daily operations and management of 4500 Sailors assigned to one of 18 departments. Second-in-command of a Navy capital ship with two nuclear reactors for power requirements, an airport with aircraft servicing and repair facilities, fire department and police departments, full medical and dental facilities, full living services (laundry, restaurant, waste/sewage, electrical, radio and telephone communications services, television network/services, IT infrastructure), and full service on-ship/off-ship logistics.   Staff Director for Commander, NORAD and the Director of Operations in execution of the NORAD Maritime Warning mission. Planned, monitored, conducted strategic analysis and provided comprehensive counsel on national security threats from the maritime domain in order to provide timely warning to the governments of Canada and United States.

  Chief Executive entrusted to develop strategic direction and to orchestrate the operations of a 650 ft amphibious warship comprised of a crew of 750+ Sailors and Marines. Managed a multimillion dollar operating budget and I provided executive oversight of a $130M mid-life ship upgrade that was executed by four prime contractors, lead by General Dynamics/National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (GD/NASSCO) and numerous sub-contractors. The project provided upgrades to the ship's hull, mechanical, electrical, propulsion, and combat systems. Upon completion of this complex maintenance period I was responsible for every aspect of training and readiness leading up the ship's deployment as part of the USS MAKIN ISLAND Amphibious Readiness Group.   USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) Aircraft Carrier

  Chief Executive of a nuclear powered aircraft carrier, USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72), during mid-life Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH). The $4B+ project included nuclear refueling and upgrades to the ship's hull, mechanical, electrical, and combat systems. RCOH prepares the ship for its final 25 years of service. Developed and executed the strategic vision for one of ten of our nation's capital assets and the 3000+ Sailors assigned to the ship.

  USSTTC is a 501(c)(3) chartered with the mission of naming a US Navy surface combatant after Fireman Second Class Telesforo Trinidad. F2C Trinidad is the only US Navy Sailor of Asian descent, and of Filipino descent, to have been awarded the Medal of Honor.
