Conduct analysis in order to ensure full compliance to the BCAA and Austro control requirements. Organize and prepare reliability meetings to discuss the issued reports with internal and external parties.Actively monitor component performance / systems trends and coordinate recommendations with the Technical Engineers and Fleet Managers for optimum performance and cost reduction. Control the IT systems for reliability reporting and make recommendations for reliability tracking system improvements in order to guarantee a high quality and effectiveness of the systems.Edit, Control and review the Aircraft Maintenance Programs as per regulations and fleet changes in order to ensure that all maintenance is carried out iaw the latest revisions of the source documents.Perform the aircraft Maintenance Program effectiveness analysis in order to provide the department with relevant KPI’s.Generate and coordinate with the Technical Engineers and Fleet Manager, new Aircraft Maintenance Program proposals, amendments and requirements (MRB, MPD, STC,…) in order to optimize the effectiveness.Prepare and represent engineering in the ‘Daily Maintenance Meetings’ to review technical AOG and Delays. Prepare and lead ‘Weekly Performance’ MeetingsPrepare and represent the Technical Department in ‘Weekly OTP’ Meetings. Supervise and follow-up of identified improvement actions (fleet campaigns, individual Tail repairs, fleet mod's, update procedures/briefings)Prepare monthly technical department's KPI reportsLiaise with Airlines/MRO/OEMs to enhance effectiveness and for innovation/developmentsContribute to special/internal projects (eg: Aircraft phase in/phase out) Show less Build, maintain and distribute a yearly maintenance planning for Aircraft Base maintenance, and Engine, APU and Landing Gear Shop Visits. Define and maintain term planning for various aircraft and component inspections/overhauls/fleet campaigns as required by applicable Airworthiness Documents, to comply with those requirements at the best possible cost level for ASL.Build an accurate, detailed budget of the Base/Light Maintenance cost for the next year, based on preliminary work scopes, and using the maintenance standards database; Define and keep updated the maintenance timeline for each leased aircraft with the most important maintenance events from phase-in to phase-out and in compliance with AMP and redelivery conditions.Continuously optimize Base Maintenance Planning in lieu of the changing network requirements, maximize aircraft availability, minimize maintenance cost and operational disruption risk and in compliance with quality & safety.Support Mx Planning and Aircraft Scheduling with the preparation of the seasonal tail assignment such that Aircraft are assigned to routes and that the Aircraft utilization is equally spread across aircraft in the fleet in between the per AMP defined Maintenance Checks/Special events.Coordinate with contracted maintenance organisation and/or Technical Representative to assure accomplishment of all planned maintenance whilst aircraft is in base maintenanceControl ordering and availability of the required material for the selected tasks by the MRO or alternate source, at the correct location, in a timely manner; Participate in the Reliability meeting, suggest improvement actions with Base Maintenance experience and follow-up decided improvement actions during base maintenance eventsCarry out quality check on the work pack according to the agreed standards and procedures, unless outsourced; Prepare AMP tasks and letter checks Escalations and Variations and get approval from national aviation regulatory authority.
