      Primarily I assisted the Practice Manager as the deputy post was vacant so I was entrusted with some of the important duties like payroll, accounts reconciliation, GP training/teaching contracts. In addition I gained valuable experience of reception and telephone tasks greeting patients and arranging appointments with GPs. Whilst in post I also designed and installed the surgery’s intranet – this brought efficiency to many processes and daily tasks.
