  Artificial Intelligence Engineer

  I joined VBTI after a very interesting training by its CEO Albert van Breemen. As an AI engineer at VBTI, I got my first hands-on experience with AI and developed several AI algorithms (RL) and visualizations of those algorithms.

  Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School

  After a heavy selection process in February, I was selected as one of the 100 students to participate in the fantastic program of the Netherlands-Asia Honors Summer School (NAHSS) of 2019. With the NAHSS I traveled to China for 6 weeks to follow a very busy but awesome program. In the first 5 weeks, I was in Chengdu with 29 others. Here I studied at Sichuan University, visited different companies (amongst others 'About Asia', 'Unilever', 'WuLiangYe' and 'Dr. Panda'), and did a consultancy project. After these 5 weeks, we traveled to Shanghai to spend another 9 days visiting more companies and connecting with other students. Show less

  During the summer of 2019, I worked together with a multidisciplinary group of students from different universities in the Netherlands to do a consultancy project for Orange Sports Forum in Chengdu, China.In May 2019 the first WePark was opened in Chengdu, China. The WePark is a sports park with different interactive and technologically advanced facilities. The goal of our consultancy project was to work out how this first WePark was being received by the local population and what future opportunities were possible. Show less

  Treasurer

  For the academic year 2019-2020 I was the treasurer for H.S.A. Confluente. Honors Study Association Confluente is the study association of the Honors Academy of the Eindhoven University of Technology. H.S.A. Confluente was still quite a young association (around 5 years old at the time) so there was still a lot of room for improvement which made it very interesting to be part of the board. Together with 3 very good friends we ran the association and took the association to the next level.

  Software Engineer

  For the end project of my Bachelor, I worked together with 9 other students to develop the Robo Risk Officer for ING. The Robo Risk Officer is a GitLab integrated merge request risk assessment robot that communicates through the GitLab merge request interface. The tool helps developers by placing merge request reviews close-to-the-code, assessing the quality of a merge request using code metrics, visualizing the evolution of a merge request over time, taking flagged false positives into consideration, and communicating in an almost human-like manner. The latter was awarded with a first place at the TU/e innovation contest 2021.
