This role was within a core maintenance team looking after a number of plants and equipment.Daily duties .... • Planning jobs, materials, estimate time and man power.•. Producing H&S documentation including risk assessments and method statements• Dealing with contractors such as NSG and suppliers. • Diagnose and rectify problems in a timely manner on plant.• Maintenance on control and shutdown valves using programmes such as AMS and valve link to carry out Valve signatures / stroke testing.• Experience working on DCS, AMS and Field bus.• Use of test equipment include Hart communicator, Druke pressure injector ,Pulse generator, fluke, decade box etc.• Working on a number of instruments to do with flow, pressure, temperature, vibration and level.• Carry out new projects, design, installation and commissioning.• Ability to accurately Interpret work instructions, engineering drawings and schematic diagrams, implementing them on site effectively.• Maintaining and repairing all electrical equipment e.g. pumps, lights, circuit breakers, RCDS, starter panels and transformers.• Carry out statutory schedules for the company and the HSE.• Complying with strict hazardous and zoned area regulations.• Calibrating, zero checking equipment and keeping record• General good house keeping.• Trip and alarm testing, following the correct isolation procedures put in place.• Listening and carrying out instructions from senior management.
