      The role Manager Chemical Process Development is a leadership role which is responsible for the research and development for chemical process development for Original Equipment and Aftermarket of Bosch Wiper Systems. The department gathers a team of highly skilled engineers and chemists. They operate as specialists and project managers, and are a crucial interface towards product engineering, manufacturing, quality and Business Unit. Their goal is to develop and pre-engineer new manufacturing technologies in the field of painting operations (wiper blade & arm), rubber mixing, injection and extrusion moulding (wiper rubber profiles), and wiper rubber surface treatment operations. For these manufacturing processes the aim is to generate and industrialize new production technologies as well as to optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve quality and profitability.The department acts within the Bosch Devision as Competence Center. Its home base is the Bosch Lead Plant at Tienen (Belgium). The team operates with a global approach and supports other production locations (e.g. Serbia, China, India, Thailand) and its suppliers worldwide to ensure implementation of standardized processes.The target is to fulfill customer expectations, achieve excellence in quallity with a clear continuous improvement approach.
