  Director & Co-Founder of CAI Learning Academy

  The mission of the CAI Learning Academy (CAILA) is to leverage forward-thinking technology-driven instruction that will make learning more efficient and effective and equip students with the skills necessary for life after graduation. We are determined to provide a solid academic foundation for our students by teaching the fundamentals of reading, writing, and math using innovative strategies in a blended learning environment. We are focused on providing opportunities that educate, inspire, and nurture students to be self-motivated, life-long learners who are socially and personally responsible citizens. As the Principal and Co-Founder of the CAI Learning Academy, I have worked together with CAI to plan, build, and run a start-up philanthropic elementary school for 60+ kindergarten through 3rd grade children. By 2020, we will be a fully functioning K-5 school. As of November 2015, 89% of our kindergarten students were reading at or above their grade level. In addition to managing a growing staff, and developing a framework to replicate the CAILA model across multiple metropolitan US areas, I am also actively involved in financial management of the school, the creation of policy and procedure, marketing, public speaking, public relations, and communications outreach to parents, corporations, and community volunteers.
