  The Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) in Bangladesh works to prevent infections and save lives. CHRF generates evidence on what causes diseases, and advocates for evidence-based policy decisions. I worked with a very enthusiastic team to detect pathogenic organisms which are responsible for infectious diseases. To detect the organism we culture the bacteria and also we performed biochemical tests. We also did antibiotic susceptibility of those organisms. To better understand the organisms we conducted pcr and other molecular detection. They mainly work on the children whose ages are under five and they also conduct projects on different diseases to discover new vaccines. Show less
