      Achieved all-time-high of Active SUNY Cortland EMS members in 2012. As Chief, was in charge of all aspects and efforts of the SUNY Cortland EMS organization. In the wake of a flooding disaster in the Southern Tier of NY, SUNY Cortland EMS has been widely recognized for our disaster relief and philanthropic efforts. Responsible for creating a more active role in the regional community. Developing new contracts with the Student Government Association and City Fire to allow SCEMS to provide mutual-aid care to Cortland County. Recently created a new emergency activation plan for working fires and miscellaneous disasters on campus in conjunction with University Police, and developed an evacuation plan with the on-campus child care center.Lead the expansion, redevelopment, and implementation of the Red Watchband program on the SUNY Cortland campus. This program, originally developed at Stony Brook University, is meant to educate college students on how to recognize and mitigate an alcohol related emergency. This program is nearing completion now and will soon be taught on campus. Show less
