  As part of my Trident work experience I spent 2 weeks shadowing practicing Lawyers. I was required to go through past documents to get a good understanding of a case, while also seeing the precise detail that goes into them. I also went to court to get a more hands on experience as to what goes on in a case. In addition I was required to do administration work such as filing, photocopying, spreadsheet work and data analysis.

  Similar to my previous role as a Food and Beverage attendant, my role was to be a part of a friendly environment in which customer needs were being fulfilled. I would take orders, making sure to note any specific dietary requirements of changes customers would like and getting this message across clearly to the chef's. I would also work in the Deli, cutting cheeses for customers and helping them with any other products they may require assistance with while also working on the till.

  A week of work experience designed to educate students on how practicing lawyers operate both in office and in court. We learnt about the different departments to a law firm and what makes a law firm, with the programme culminating in a fake criminal court case which we prepared on one day before presenting on the final day.

  A 3 week work placement in which I was involved in project work in the Compliance department. I attended meetings, learnt how to use computer programmes and worked with two co-workers on a group project involving the recording of data for high net worth individuals. This gave me a good understanding of how the business ran as a whole.
