Show less I spent October 2003- thru September 2004 as a load crew team chief in the 81st Fighter Squadron working A-10 aircraft my duties entailed:Supervises two load crew members, certified and proficient in crew position to load, safe and download 15 different types of air munitions on 22 assigned A/OA-10 aircraft valued at $550M. Supports 8K annual flying hour program. Installs and removes impulse cartridges in armament jettison systems. Configures aircraft for operational sorties., repairs and maintains munitions handling, loading and attest equipment. Inspects, maintains, repairs, modifies an installs aircraft release, launch, suspension, monitoring and GAU-8 30mm gun systems. Performs aircraft weapons release functional check sand associated on equipment inspection requirements on alternate mission equipment and normally installed equipment.
