Responsible for determining portfolio priorities by analyzing project risks, justifications, costs, and scope. Develop and maintain common Project Execution Plan and Job Instructions for use on all projects. Prepare and present applications for funding approvals to Cenovus Executives and establish annual budgets. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met on projects. Conduct project look-backs and lessons learned to identify opportunities for improvements to existing processes. Work with cross functional teams to develop processes and procedures to better execute projects. Responsible for accurate and timely reporting to management. Built strong team environment through strategic planning, team building, open communication, mentoring, and leadership.
