The project was valued at +$800M for a new extraction plant along with off site utilities upgrades.• Project Engineer for the Froth Treatment area of the FED1 preliminary design and transition to beginning of FED2/3 of the Albian Sands Debottleneck Project for the Muskeg River Mine. I was accountable to review existing and new technology for use with regard to the collection and management of asset data. Responsible for determining portfolio priorities by analyzing project risks, justifications, costs, and scope. Develop and maintain common Project Execution Plan and Job Instructions for use on all projects. Prepare and present applications for funding approvals to Cenovus Executives and establish annual budgets. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met on projects. Conduct project look-backs and lessons learned to identify opportunities for improvements to existing processes. Work with cross functional teams to develop processes and procedures to better execute projects. Responsible for accurate and timely reporting to management.
