  AWS Solution Architect Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment Pipeline Deployed a continuous integration and deployment pipeline with integrated security tools to test and deploy full stack web applications. Applications are hosted on GitHub and watched by a Jenkins build server where they are compiled and tested upon each release during the Agile development process. Containerized applications using Docker and orchestrated containers with Kubernetes. Wrote playbooks in Ansible for automation and configuration management. Key points include: - Automated building and testing of deployments using Jenkins triggered by Git commits. - Configured Docker images as build environments for the CI/CD Pipeline and maintained build images.- Automated tasks and configuration management using Ansible playbooks. - Implemented automatic scaling of compute resources to maintain Docker deployments (AWS Fargate). - Orchestrated and managed clusters of Docker containers using Kubernetes and EKS.- Established the AWS EKS infrastructure using Terraform. - Tested alternative deployments using Puppet and CodePipeline tools. Task Organizations System Worked in a team environment to deploy a virtual network spread across multiple Availability Zones in a Region with RDS, Elasticache, EFS and various other AWS compute resources. The environment uses a highly available, scalable and fault tolerant design intended to serve a large customer base. I bring strategic and technical expertise to the TCJ6 Directorate, driving significant improvements in IT Service Management.- Lead the development and implementation of commercial cloud solutions, prioritizing security, scalability, and resiliency to modernize cloud architectures, deployments, and usage.- Manage complex cloud IL5/IL6 environments within the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) Environment, focusing on migration, re-platforming, integration, and operation of managed shared services.- Oversee compliance with DoD Cloud Computing policy/guidelines for commercial cloud service offerings.- Conduct detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendation of improvements and optimizations for cloud and virtualization systems.- Develop and execute testing protocols for these systems, ensuring robustness and efficiency.Maintain and expand technical knowledge in cloud computing and virtualization technologies, staying abreast of industry standards.Finally yet importantly I engage with senior management to align strategic plans and objectives with operational requirements, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of advanced cloud-based systems.
