      Co-Founder and Executive Director

During COVID-19 crisis, I co-founded Art in Touch with a group of art professionals in New York, with the belief that art can help bring compassion, solace, and enlightenment to humankind through difficult times. Our first project, N95forNYC, secures medical resources and support for frontline healthcare workers. Since March 2020, N95forNYC has obtained a high volume of N95, respirators, surgical masks, protective coveralls, eye protectors, and other much-needed PPE sourced from China and the United States and directly distributed them to 52 hospitals, nursing homes, and first responders in New York City and beyond. We are in direct contact with frontline healthcare workers to ensure and make sure that the critical resources are put into their hands without bureaucratic delays. Our second project, BouquetsforNYC brings personalized flowers to frontline healthcare workers, COVID-19 patients, victims and their families to provide emotional support and love. Our project InSolidarity brings non-medical grade protective gears to people of color and other vulnerable communities in need of masks for theirgatherings to support the campaigns for #BlackLivesMatter movements. As the situation subsides, we aim to further explore diverse and artistic ways to help with disaster relief. Show less
