As the largest chapter of the International Code Council, CALBO seeks to be a thought leader and contributor within the public safety professions at local, state, and national levels of governance.- Served on the Board of Directors since 2017, the Executive Board since 2019, and President for 2023/2024.- Served on and chaired multiple committees since 2010 including Legislation, Training and Education, State Codes, and Professional Engagement.- Serve as an instructor for California Building Officials specializing in the instruction of State Laws related to development, building departments in California, best practices, customer service, department management, City Council staff reports and presentations, and Emergency Preparedness.- Chaired the Bylaws Review Committee which undertook a complete review and update of the bylaws for the organization.
