  joyn-coop is a process and strategy consultancy for sustainable development, combining expertise in development cooperation with the methods and quality standards of management consulting. Mostly I supported a scoping study on a new financial inclusion project in the Philippines for the Savings Bank Foundation for International Cooperation. My main tasks included: - Preparing and conducting expert interviews with, representatives from financial institutions, industrial chambers as well as international development partners- Contributing and presenting preliminary results to clients- Contributing to the final scoping report. Furthermore, I contributed to projects in Niger and Mozambique: • Niger: I contributed to a feasibility study on the support of female education as well as the prevention of child marriages and early pregnancies for the KfW Development Bank.• Mozambique: Background research on training concept for promoting financial literacy in rural areas in Mozambique (client: Savings Bank Foundation for International Cooperation) Throughout my internship, I acquired knowledge about relevant topics in international development cooperation, especially in the areas of microfinance, financial literacy and cash transfer programmes. I was furthermore able to develop my writing skills applying a top-down management style, applied my knowledge on Microsoft Office and trained my internet-based moderation skills. Show less
