  Working with the Projex team to help deliver two big events: Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2021 and Soundstorm 2021 in Riyadh. Supervised build and take down of the Main stage Fascia at the F1 concert site in Jeddah. Building and fitting out of the VIP structure which was used by the Saudi Royals on show nights. Supervising the fit out and pull out of 69 VIP suites at Soundstorm 2021 festival in Riyadh, also helping with the build of two after party venues on site. After relocating to Dubai I started freelance work with Projex Events Services as an assistant Project Manager/Supervisor. This was my introduction into the Events Industry and with mentorship from my senior colleagues, planning, delivering and de-rig projects on big events. Covering events including The 2021 Saudi Arabian Formula 1 Grand Prix in Jeddah and the 2021 MDL Beast Soundstorm festival in Riyadh. Liaising with client to determine scope of works and presenting CAD drawings and visuals to meet the need of the build.Planning and budgeting required materials and labour costs. Managing packing lists and shipping logistics to and from site.Planning Electrical distribution and layout for structures.Planning internal build layouts and finishes.Sourcing additional materials and tools from local markets.Supervising multi-national team of tradesmen on day and night shift to carry out build up works as per drawings.Supervising correct health and safety measures are covered by crews for works.Liaising with client for any additional works to be carried out as per request.Working alongside other contractors to make sure build runs smoothly. Working on a tight deadline to make sure all works are completed by handover date. Supervising stand by trades crew on show days in case of emergency.Supervising crew for dismantling and loading out of all materials from site after event completion. Show less
