  I first worked as a student in the physics and geology department at GVSU, working on projects for professors and clerical work for the main office. Transitioning campuses as I entered the DPT program at GVSU gave me the opportunity to transfer to the Kirkhof College of Nursing at GVSU. I provide the same type of work in this current office, part-time as I complete my DPT degree. I was a research assistant for the dean of the DPT program at GVSU. This position required me to do extensive research and report it to the dean in an organized fashion while also taking classes as a full-time student during my first semester in the DPT program.

The NSCS give us access to scholarship and volunteer opportunities, while also holding monthly meetings where professionals give seminars on many different aspects that lead to success.
