  Research topics of the institute are:Simulation:- Virtual Engine Platform and Digital Twin of Gas Turbines- Multiphysics and Multiscale Modeling- Physics based Lifetime Assessment of Materials and Components- Development of efficient numerical method in various areas of our research focus Testing:- Test rig to subject materials and components to high temperatures, mechanical loads and chemical attack due to corrosive combustion gases- Rotor test rig to investigate lifetime of engine rotor disks particularly with respect to the secondary air system and sealing systems in the secondary air system- Data Management System to simultaneously collect Simulation and test data to enable validation and data driven simulationWe are usually looking for hires in the following areas:- Software developers in different areas - scientific computing, data management, simulation process automation, meta data extraction, machine learning.
