  A Career spanning over 24 years in the Tax Consulting and Manufacturing (Industrial Products and Services) segments encompassing variegated and enriching hands–on experience in the realms ofTax Consulting Services whereby managed several mid-size multinational and Indian clients in areas of Indirect Tax and Direct Tax – Transfer Pricing in the areas of compliances, litigations and planning, including audits, assessments, appeals, APAs, etc., with the tax authorities; Finance, Accounts and Commercial functions during the tenure with Industry.MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTSNegotiated with an MNC client engaged in the manufacture and sale of Industrial Gases in India and formalized an engagement towards execution and formalizing an “Advance Pricing Agreement” (APA) with the Indian Revenue Authorities.Successfully represented clients before the Transfer Pricing Officers in the TP assessment proceedings and litigation at the Tribunal Handled litigations in areas of Indirect Tax Consulting at the various levels of assessments, appellate and revision proceedings which were favorably adjudicated, as also in Entry Tax Matters before the Orissa High Court and the Supreme Court.Effectively handled refund of export proceeds to a client based in Bangladesh in terms of FEMA / FERA Guidelines in liaison with the Reserve Bank of India.Was an active member of the corporate Debtors Control Team engaged in the redressal of age-old sticky debts as also developing effective mechanism towards proper monitoring, control and recovery of sundry debtors.
