      The list below is not intended to be an exhaustive list of what I do in my current role but to give brief overview as the role is extremely varied and changes over time. In 2017 I have had a much more strategic role with the Charity and have been the Operations team Finance Lead also - overseeing budgeting, forecasting and accounts for 11 Ronald McDonald Houses in the UK. In addition to this for the past 18 months I have been the Charity HR go to also, advising and supporting staff and management on any HR issues that arise prior to the appointment of a Charity HR Consultant in November 2017. Monitor and oversee the day-to-day running of Ronald McDonald Houses  Works alongside the House Managers to advise and guide to ensure consistency and compliance with all Ronald McDonald House Charities policies Assists with the hiring of House management teams Complete performance reviews and set goals for all House Managers Oversee completion of other staff member’s performance reviews and goals  Ensure standardisation of registration and related paperwork, employment of staff-application forms, interviews, discipline and grievance procedures etc. Ensuring a comprehensive and successful fundraising plan is implemented and opportunities are fully developed in all Houses Oversee the use of the database in all Houses including reporting Completes House Assessments to monitor and drive improvements with House operations and standards Overseeing the renewing and building of valuable donor relationships in all Houses Acts as an advocate for Ronald McDonald House Charities to all external and internal contacts Builds and maintains a good working relationship with hospital hierarchy in order to resolve any operational issues Works in consultation with Head Office support functions as needed Builds strong working relationships with the Board of Governors based on trust and mutual accountability Setting and accountability for individual House budgets Show less
