  Working within the Operations Directorate as part of the Regional Exploration team, my primary responsibilities are split between influencing both UKCS CO2 Storage & Petroleum opportunities;- Evaluate/assess UK Carbon Storage opportunities contributing to the delivery of the UK’s net zero targets. Generating Carbon Storage aquifer & closure capacity estimations, aiding future Licence AOI identification. - Future petroleum licence round area assessment through; database generation, play/prospect evaluation & regional portfolio assessments Show less The OGA Graduate Development Programme provided significant exposure to UKCS Oil and Gas Operations during a range of varied rotations throughout the Operations Directorate:1) Rotation: Exploration Geoscientist, Regional Exploration Team To aid UKCS Exploration revitalisation, my time in the Exploration Team was spent encouraging and appropriately incentivising the exploitation of new and emerging plays through common risk segment map generation and probabilistic (Monte-Carlo based) software analysis.2) Rotation: Development Geoscientist, Northern North Sea & West of Shetland Area Team Responsible for reviewing the Field Determination Process & Rosebank/Storr Field Development Plans.3) Rotation: Geologist, Decommissioning Responsible for delivering a cross Regulation/Operation directorate UKCS Suspended E&A Well project. Critical risk addressed & risk mitigation methods communicated.
