      Job Responsibilities: Support the QU Health leadership and Deans of its member colleges in coordinating with the Finance and Procurement Departments for the efficient and effective delivery of services for the QU Health Cluster and to ensure the timely resolution of issues in line with QU’s strategy and policy requirements. Support the Manager Health Cluster Support to implement the requirements of QU Finance and Procurement policies and procedures in the QU Health Cluster. Under the guidance of the Manager Health Cluster Support, help the QU Health leadership and the Deans of its member colleges to consolidate requirements and plans in regards to procurement and ensure all available resources are provided to meet objectives while ensuring alignment with QU strategy, policies and procedures. Collaborate with the QU Health leadership and its member colleges to ensure that procurement contracts are aligned with best practice and in compliance with QU policies and coordinate with the Procurement Department as necessary. Support the accurate and efficient processing of payments and expenses in accordance with QU policies and procedures and resolve any variances as appropriately. Maintain and update accurate QU Health Finance, Procurement, and General Services related records in a timely fashion. Develop organization’s budget under the supervision of the Deans and Department heads. Review budget proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with laws and other regulations Combine all the program and department budgets together into a consolidated organizational budget and review all funding requests for merit Monitor organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget Inform program managers of the status and availability of funds Estimate future financial need Perform tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University. Show less • Perform grant closeout functions including reconciliations, financial status reports, final invoices and final reporting. • Rreview general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and complete journal entries.• Support the sponsored programs department in education and training of principal investigators and administrators; assesses needs and resolves issues of the principal investigator related to grants accounting; performs analysis and support for projects.• Responsible for related accounting duties; serves as the appropriate principal investigator’s contact for grants and contract accounting functions.• Prepare various year-end reports for annual financial reports.• Prepare and enter journal entries, voucher corrections, cash receipts and other necessary entries into the financial accounting system.• Provides financial information to external agencies as required or as necessary.• Reviews payments charged to grants and charges costs to grants on a monthly basis.• Prepare all grant financial reporting and answers questions from principal investigators related to grants.• Monitors grant actual expenditures with approved budget.• Co-ordinate with international universities for grants allocate and finalizing the payments Show less • Import, clean, transform, validate or model data from various survey conducted in the university level for decision making purposes• Present data in charts, graphs and tables from the various databases and survey data.• Contribute in designing and developing the first alumni and employer database for Qatar University• Analyze several survey data for OIPD office and prepared several reports, and presentations• Improve data quality and present conclusions gained from analyzing data using statistical tools like Microsoft Excel and SPSS• Prepare reports, presentation and executive reports for QU Institutional Research Surveys, Action Plan (2010- 2011) and Employer Database for Qatar University, with other colleagues Show less
