The scope of data preparation for inbound and outbound reports includes understanding reports data requirements for Inbound and outbound reports & the data available from IUM in MySQL DB facts and dimensions, implementing aggregate layer sourced from above IUM tables depending upon requirement of individual report and creating SQL execution scripts for aggregate layer which will run through CRON. Show less Project Manager, Vodafone Idea Hadoop & Data Preparation Project, HPE CMS-WW Delivery TeamIn this project, the existing FM reports, for which the data processing was done by Acanthis and stored in Oracle DB were not being rendered on SAP BO due to large volume of data. There was a need of FM Report data loader which can process and summarize the alarm data and store in the Hadoop Eco - System. As part of Vodafone Idea Integration project, we created Hadoop based data model and data load which will be used by SAP BO reporting tool to render some of the selected set of existing FM reports. The project involved setting up Hadoop at DC and DR using Cloudera and Data preparation for 30 SAP BO reports (20 Complex + 10 medium). Data required for FM reports, are processed and loaded in Hadoop eco-system. As a result of this transformation, the SAP BO is able to render the reports and customer is able to view the reports which they were not able to view when the data was processed and stored by Acanthis in Oracle DB.
